Hello,

Well, I'm into the 8th month of pregnancy!! I can't believe that at the end of April we will be welcoming another edition into our family!! We are so excited for this little boy to be born!! Porter is so happy, he asks every day when is the baby going to be born!!

Well, not a lot has happened since I last posted! We are still enjoying our new place!! And loving the fact that we get to spend time with the hubby/daddy!! This has truely been a blessing to our family!!

We also not only can't wait for the baby"Hudson" to be born, but we are so excited for spring/summer, when we can finally go outside and play!! Especially Porter and I-we have cabin fever so bad!! Anytime there is a little hint of spring we have been outside enjoying it!!!

Well, all that's left is cleaning Hudson's bedroom, and his clothes and getting organized and ready for his arrival, and of course waiting!!! I wish it were already done!!!

Hello again,

Welcome 2011!! We are so excited for this year!! We are expecting a little boy on April 30! We have decided so far to name him Hudson Alexander!
Hmm, where to start with this new year!! We have been so very blessed, not only to be having another child, but we were able to move from our tiny apartment into a much bigger space!!!! WE LOVE IT, so much!!! Not only do we basically have a house back, but we have a really nice big back yard for Porter to play in!! We are so excited!! I have to thank my Heavenly Father for all of these blessings!! Also, my hubby was able to finally quit his 2nd job, and so now we are able to finally see him and hang out with him!! It has been so wonderful having him home, and Porter is just so happy to have his daddy to hang out with!!!

Hello All,

Again, I am not good at this blogging stuff!! However I did manage to finally change our background!! I finally figured that one out!! It only took me two years!! lol!!
Well, what have we been up to!! Hmm, where to begin!! Matt is still working his two jobs on full time and the other basically full time!! We really don't get to see eachother a lot and when we finally do he is exhaused and just wants to veg! Which who can blame him! It does kinda stink because I miss our time together!! But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to provide!! I'm still working my two jobs, both part-time. It's basically a full time job if you combine the two!! I love my second job so much up at TITP!! It is the bestest!!!
Porter is still growing like a weed, he is really tall!! We love that kid he makes us smile everyday!! We sure do wish we could spend more time as a family though!! But I guess that's why you make sacrifices now, so hopefully you have a better future!! We are really hoping for that better future!!!
Oh, and I guess the biggest news of the year is, we just found out that I'm going to have a baby!! Yay, hopefully we will find out the gender sometime in December!!! I'm due May 2nd, that seems like a good time to have a baby!! We are hoping for a girl, but you get what you get!! And we would love another boy they are so fun!! Anyways, we are really excited for it-sometimes I think it's the good news that keeps us going!!
I know that I shouldn't be jealous or envy others but I'm really missing our house right now!! Especially this time of year when I could decorate it for christmas!! I miss hanging the lights and our beautiful bay window with the christmas tree in it!! I know it seems silly and childish, but I guess you never know what you will miss until it's gone!! I try to make christmas fun in our apartment, but it's so little and hanging lights is pointless because no one else does it-so it looks funny!!
Hopefully soon some day Matt and I can get back into a house!! Stupid layoffs!! lol!! I just hate how my poor husband has to now work two full time jobs and I have to work basically full time and we don't even bring in the same that he used to bring in with one job!! It totally stinks!! I guess that's probably why Heavenly Father decided we needed to learn a lesson!! So, we can learn to make sacrifices and be grateful for the simple things in life!! (Sorry for my venting!)
Looking back at everything, I really am grateful for what I have! We have a roof over our heads and food in our tummy's and most important of all is we still have eachother and the gospel/lord!! And, we have made some really great friends along the way and I have found a great spot where I can escape from the world, even if it is just for a few minutes!! I wish you and all of your families a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Season!! And if you ever need anything please let me know!!

I just want to say Happy Easter Everyone, tommorow of course!! In watching General Conference, I just want to say; I am thankful for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. And for the Sacrifice Christ made for me! I'm so grateful to know that Families can be together forever!
I'm also thankful for the roof over my head and the food in my stomach! We so often take advantage of these everyday luxeries, but we need to remember that they can be taken away in an instant! I love all of my family and friends!

Wow Time Flies Even During Rough Times!

Hello All,

Again I have said it many times, I'm such a slacker with this whole blog thing. Wow, I can't believe I haven't updated it in a year! I'm surprised to see that they haven't shut it down.

Well I can start out by saying that thankfully Matt has two jobs. Yes, he went from being unemployed to being employed times two. Add school to that equation and you have one busy man! He also just took the P.O.S.T entrance exam. For those of you who don't know what this is, it is the entrance exam into the Police Acadamy! Yep, Matt has decided he is going to become a Police Officer. I'm way excited for this new adventure! And I'm so proud of him!! He is the greatest hubby ever!! Everyone please keep us in your prayers. We are hoping he can get in this spring/fall. We hardly ever get to spend time with him now! But we are just happy that he is able to provide. Things still aren't were we would like them to be!However, we have learned that our Heavenly Father know's best!

We have been so blessed with Matthew's job. Especially his first job! We love, love, love it at This Is The Place Heritage Park!! They have not only made him feel welcome, but Porter, Shamie and I feel like family. They are so sweet and have blessed us so much! I have also been doing some seasonal work up at the park-it is so awsome! I was able to help out with the Haunted Village, where I was a scarecrow and even the headless horseman a few times. I also was dressed up like a pioneer for the Candlelight Christmas event! I highly recomend making the Park part of your family fun! They have so many neat activities and historical things for your family to participate in all year long! I'm hoping to be able to work some more there this summer!!

We also love Holladay, we have never felt so welcome as we do in our new ward! I have also met some new friends that I love and adore! They have really made me feel welcome! Matt enjoys them as well. And Porter has also made some new friends! He loves the neighbor boy to death! They are best buds!! We are sure going to miss them when they move this summer!

Porter-Wow, what can I say! He is the most adorable kid on the face of this planet! We love him to peices!! He is growing like a weed. He is 21 months now and his huge! He looks just like Matt, when he was younger! He is a walking, talking ball of energy! I can't believe he is almost two!

Well, that's all for now folks! Hopefully, I will get myself back into this blogging thing! At least I have been scrapbooking lately!!

No Longer A Home Owner!

I'm finally updating. A lot has happened these past couple of months. Matt had to go to the ER, he wasn't feeling well just before Christmas. Unfortunatly, it turned into a hospital visit. He is doing better now. But it stinks, because they still arn't a 100% sure what was wrong with him. And we didn't have insurace at the time. So we racked up the hospital bills. Just to add to our dwindling finances.
One big help is, last tuesday, we are no longer homeowners. Someone finally bought our cute house. We now live with Matt's uncle Morgen who has graciously allowed us to move in with his family. Hopefully, this will only be a short term stop. I'm sad that we had to sell our house, but I understand that this is just another bump in the road. I'm praying we can get into another house soon!
Matt got laid off again-yes, again! After he started at what we thought would be a great new place for him, things got really slow and they laid him off in January. So far there are no perspectives. The future is looking pretty bleak. Matt's not so sure he even wants to do surveying anymore. Hopefully, Matt will find a new job soon! If anyone know's of any openings anywhere, please let us know.
Porter is growing like a weed. He is crawling and getting two teeth. He loves french fries, and puff snacks. He is into everything now. He can even say Mommy and Daddy kind'ave. We love our little guy!
Hopefully, our string of bad voodoo will be ending soon! Thanks to the stinky economy!

A couple of weeks ago, we went on the Polar Express. It is a Baudino family tradition. We go every year to the North Pole. This was Porters 1st train ride. The Polar Express is a.k.a the Heber Creeper. We get together with my mom's sister and her dad. Porter had a lot of fun! He got to see Santa and Mrs Claus. It is a lot of fun! All of the children dress in their pj's. They read the book "Polar Express" and serve hot cocoa, sing, and have fun, then when you arrive at the North Pole Santa gets on the train, and he asks all of the children, if they have been good and then what they want for Christmas! It was a wonderful evening!

I want to start out by wishing everyone Happy Holidays! Also, by saying thank you to everyone that has helped us out during these very stressful times! I know I haven't updated our blog for ever, especially with any pics, so here it goes.
My parents gave us a call one day to go to dinner with them at Madox's. We love that place it is so yummy. Before we went to dinner, we stopped at Smith and Edwards to look around. For those of you who have never been to Smith and Edwards it is a moge poge of everything, but we love it! It is like an old fashioned Wal-Mart with old army equipment. I love that store, you can get some great things for a discount, plus it has all kinds of horse equipment. As you all know, I have a horse named Shamie. My little sister Madeline, loves horses as well. She has fun riding Shamie. While we were at Smith and Edwards, my sister wanted to sit on the saddles. So, Madeline and I decided that she needed to look like a real cowgirl, before she sat on the saddle. I found a hat and some chaps for her to try on. Of course, we had to take a picture. She looked so cute, sitting high on the saddle. She was just practicing for when she will get to ride Shamie all by herself. So, I thought that I would document it.
We also took Family pictures before it snowd. My uncle Robert was so nice and took them for us, he did an excellant job. They turned out awsome. So, I will post a couple of those for your enjoyment.
We had an awesome Christmas this year, despite our circumstances. Matt's sister Tiffany flew in from Arizona to hang out with us. We had a lot of fun, watching Porter open his presents. It was an awesome experience to be with my son on his first Christmas. He was so excited about everything, that made it fun! I also learned the true meaning of Christmas this year! You don't need to have money or presents to celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I was really humbled, and even lost it a few times during that day. I'm so grateful for everything. I'm grateful that my husband has found a new job, that he loves. I'm also thankful for my son Porter, and how healthy, and happy he is. I'm grateful, for those of you who have helped us this Christmas, and all during this test. There are no words for how thankful, I am, and how humbling this has been. It is so nice to know that there is family and friends right there to assist in times of need. Despite everything the inner pessimist in me, there are still good people out there. And you have proved me wrong. Overall, I am so grateful for everything, even though times are tough!! I will post some pics of cute little Porter Peck!!

Hello All,

I know, I know I have been a slacker at this blog thing. I figured while I was working during a down time that I had better update. We are still trying to sell our house. The darn thing has not had any offers on it yet. We have had oodles of people look at it, but no takers. I know, now is not the greatest time to sell. But with Matt being unemployed, we thought it wise to sell.
A lot has happened these few months, and I know I really need to add pictures, hopefully I will do that this weekend. We had an ok Thanksgiving. I had to work, oh did I mention, it was also my birthday. I decided working on Holidays stinks even though you get paid more. I miss my family. My hubby was so great, he tried so hard to make it a special day for me. We celebrated my birthday a couple of nights before. He took me to see the new movie Twilight. I'm so addicted. I loved it!! Edward Rules, at least so far-I'm only on the third book!
Porter, Porter, Porter! I know he is really the reason for the blog and for anyone reading it, no one cares about the rest of us (j/k). He is huge. I can't believe my son is already 6 months old. At his last Dr's apt. he was 18 pounds and some change, and 27 inches long. He is Mr. Stretch. He is already wearing 12 month clothing. It brings on a new meaning to Baby Godzilla ( I threw that one in for you Tiffany). He is so cute, he loves to roll all around. We call him Roley poly! He can also sit up all by himself. He is not far from being able to crawl. We love him so much!! He has been the best thing in our lives especially amongst all of our trials this year!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband, who is the hardest worker. He would give anything up for me and Porter, just so we are happy. I love him so much! He is the greatest! He has sacrificed a lot for us! I know the stress of not being employed has been great for him. But it has really brought the two of us together. I believe that we have learned a lot from this ordeal, and still continue to. The lord works in mysterious ways, but I believe this will all work out for the better in the end. Hopefully, things are looking up! Matt did find a new job, he started it this week. He loves it. His new boss is so nice!! Anyway, bye for now! Updates to come!! Our Long Journey!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry, I haven't updated our blog forever. A lot has happened this past month, that has kept me busy. Most of which have not been in our favor. This past month, we determined that water was against us. We have had to replace our water heater and some pipes to the ac, as well as the main water line pipe to our house. All of them decieded to spring leaks within a week of eachother. We have survived 3. Yes, count it 3 floods this month. In and out of our house. We would get one taken care of and then we would wake up to another.
Alas, just when we thought things couldn't get worse, Matt got laid off from his job the day before halloween. We know that the lord works in mysterious ways. Obviously, my husband wasn't meant to work there any more. We will just have to wait and see what is in store. I will update, when I can.

Hello everyone!

Sorry, it has taken me forever to update our blog. My family has been really busy lately. For those of you who already don't know, we are trying to sale our house (I know we couldn't have picked a better time). It has been really stressful. We have had several people look, but no offers. I'm really sad, because our house looks really good and now we are going to have to move.

Anyway, I will update with pictures later. This past weekend, we were able to fly to Seattle and visit Matts grandma and great grandma. Finally, I had my JetBlue experience. I loved it. I love our airplanes!Porters aunt Jessica came with us, and we met grandma Janice there. We had so much fun visiting and introducing Porter to the rest of his family. He had his grandma's wrapped around his little finger. It was my first time to Seattle. I had a blast. We were able to visit Pikes Place Market were we saw them throw fish and we ordered some fish and had it shipped back home. It looks really yummy--I will find out how it tastes on sunday! We also saw the space needle and went up to the top of it. It was so cool to see Seattle at night. It was really pretty. We also went to Trader Joes and got some yummy candy. We just had a lot of fun walking around looking at stuff. Porter thought the space needle was fun to see to. He also liked watching the Seaguls at Iver's while we were eating yummy salmon and halibut, fresh from the sea. Matt was feeding the Seaguls french fries and this one seagul was catching it like Bandit our dog. It was pretty funny! Porter though it was hilarous! He laughed and laughed at those silly seaguls. Well, I will update again soon with some photo's.

On August 8th the 18 and older Peck cousins (Porter was the exception) got together to have another famous cousins night. Only this time it was at the families cabin. We all had a blast playing many games. Porter even really got into them. The next day was Grandpa Peck and Aunt Madelines Birthday's. So, Matt, Porter, and I came down from spending the night at the cabin to attend Madelines 6th Birthday Party. She loves High School Musical, and so that was the parties theme. It looked like she was having a blast. I enjoyed seeing my extended family. Then it was off, back up to the cabin we went for Matt's grandpa's birthday. Were we enjoyed more time with family. Overall, it was a really busy day, but we had a lot of fun.

Thanks to my good friend Christine we got free tickets to the zoo. We decided it would be fun to take Porter. This is his first time to the zoo. When Matt told Porter we were going to go to the zoo today, Porter smiled and laughed. We love his big grin. When I got him ready today, I carefully chose his outfit with a little Giraffe on it. I figured it would only be appropriate. It was really fun to spend time with our little family. Porter mostly slept (we figured that was going to happen), but he did wake up for a few pictures. I think he really liked the giraffes, elephants, and snakes. Dad and Porter were having a blast looking at all of the snakes, while Mom looked at them from a distance and focused more on the cute little monkeys and other various mammals on the other side. We had a lot of fun, even though it was a really hot day! We look forward to bringing Porter back to the zoo, especially when he is old enough to really understand what is going on around him.

The weekend of July 18th, Matt and I decided to go to Bear Lake. Matt had never been before and neither has Porter. So, I called my parents and invited them to come as well. We had fun looking at the lake and we stopped to get a Bear Lake Raspberry Shake-Yummm! Porter was really good for the entire car ride. We decided to go home through Wyoming. It was such an exciting car ride (lots of sage brush and barren land). We drove past Wyoming downs and decided that some day, we need to come back to see the horse races. Overall, it was a nice relaxing day trip and Porter got to go to Idaho and Wyoming for the first time!

Hello everyone! Sorry, I haven't updated anything recently I have been really busy. Today, I started back to work. It stinks, but that's life. One good thing is on the next shift bid, I will have Sunday's off. Finally, I can go to church again! I'm sure my fellow ward members think I'm inactive. I'm so excited my horse finally got new shoes after battling with farriers for a couple of months. His poor feet got so long, I felt really bad. Thankfully, some family and friends have been helping take care of Shamie for me since I became pregnant. Now I'm so happy, because I can finally ride him again!
Matt has gone back into the field. So, he does half office work and half field work. One benefit is he gets a work truck again! We believe this may be a blessing in disguise considering fuel prices and we will both be starting back to school so now we won't have to worry about his transportation.
Porter is just getting bigger and bigger everyday. He still is not sleeping through the night. He averages waking up about at least two times every night. I know that it will come with time, but I wish it was sooner rather than later. We are so grateful for all of the family and friends that have helped us these past couple of months. We don't know were we would be without you!!

We had the pleasure of blessing our son Porter on July 11, 2008. Porter was so good during the blessing. He was wide awake just looking around and didn't even make a peep. I'm so lucky to have a wonderful husband who is worthy to use the priesthood. I really felt the spirit that day! We had many of our family members and friends attend. Those that were unable to come, were missed greatly! Some of our close family members and friends bore there testimony. I was really touched by the words that were spoken. I will forever remember them. After the blessing we had everyone over to our house for a BBQ! Matt did a good job orchastrating everything! It really turned out to be a really nice day!

Hello!

I must admit this is my first attempt at blogging so, we shall see how this will go! I have many a family and friend who suggested I start one. I just had a baby boy name Porter Ryan Peck on june 9, 2008 and he is the love of my life! Wow, how time flies. He is already one month old. Hopefully soon, I will figure out how this thing works and put some pictures on here.
